At the VROC Kentucky rally a couple months ago there was a couple Nomads that had passenger floorboards that had a lever on the outside that when raised up allowed the passenger to set their feet about 7 inches higher then normal. They raised forward and up. Anyone have a clue what they were??

Someone mentioned that they were off of a Goldwing, or a aftermarket item for the Wing.
My wife sure would like a pair on our bike! :)

I've checked and so far no one knows what I'm talking about.

HELP !! She won't be happy till I get her a pair! http://s2.images.proboards.com/shocked.gif

I just order them!! http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif
The wife saw them and actually asked if I was going to order them for her... ::)

I had Scootworks looking for them when I was up at their rally a while back. They had the newest catalog and even called them and they didn't know what we were talking about!!

I guess I went to the right place this time! ;)

Thanks! Some really cool guy built the rack and sold it to me! ;)
Post some pics of those floor boards after you get them mounted. I think they are really cool. They look great on Al's bike.

Cajunrider has a set of those on his bike.

Edit: Oops, It was Chainsaw that has them, not Mitch.

Not to stray too far from the subject at hand, but has anybody tried to mount H-D driver floorboards on a Nomad? ANyone know if it can be done?

I was looking at some on my friend's Road King and they were really nice. All chrome, and the upper surface was isolated from the base with rubber cushions. Those would really look sharp on a Nomad.

Wompus, I have them on my bike. Bought them on E-Bay a lot cheaper. Had to modify the bracket on the bike to make them fit. But it worked out fine. Wife loves them. We had those on our Wing and that was the first thing she asked for. Transformers.

Wompus, I think you could add a new product to your website if you were to create a bracket to mount those bad boys on our nomads. I'm pretty sure my wife would sign up for a set.

Scott......can't answer about the Nomad but I had a pair on my '03 Vol. IIRC, the only thing different were the mounts but I can't remember what the diffference was. I would think that they could be put on a Nad. Kuryakyn would probably be the source for mounts.
