Here are some pictures of the bike after the repairs from hitting the deer. My daughter has named it the Glowmad, it still is getting some pinstriping done then the installation of 240 neon green led lights to find my way in the dark. Maybe it will scare the s***t out of those deer

It looks as good as new again, a blind man should be able to see it coming now.

Wow, that is bright. Nice looking color.
How are the two of you doing? Hopefully you are healing nicely after the deer incidnent. We are doing good, I am back to work, the Doc says I will probably never have full use of my left arm because I wont stop doing things, but that is okay, as long as I can reach the handlebars

Oh geeze there is another guy here like me.. See what you can do about resting broken bones. I have a few several that didn't mend very well and one that floats at this point, which can create odd surprises at times....
I got bashed bad in 79, and all I could do was think kayak, after that bike crash. Riding was out for a while and so was money, but I had wood and I had canavass, and built 2 boats side by side.
That didn't do broken bones much good, and then there were more.....
I just get bored easy... These days i am feeling some of my old folly..... Can't say as Il'd reccomend it to anyone else....
NM, Good to hear that you, the Mrs, and the bike are doing well. Never did make it to OKC area this month so hence didn't get to look you up.
An yes Mac, I'm thinking you and Nighmare have a lot more in common than you might imagine, having met him and knowing you through your messages. Two Kawanow originals for sure, never mind the broken bones.

Great look indeed. I knew it would look good when you were telling me about the possible color in Custer. Did you do any glow paint like you talked about?
Glad to hear you are healing up...understand the not wanting to wait around. I haven't done shoulder surgery because I don't want to be laid up.

Nice color, no doubt you will be seen. Did insurance take care of all or least most of the expense? Looks like according to your Visited States Map you have ridden a bike in all 48 or the original states. How did you manage to do that? Seems I never have that much time or that much money. Glad both of you are doing good.

Like the click to enlarge feature. Maybe the deer can see you and maybe they can't but we sure can. Can't wait for lights and UFO reports.

I will definitely know who's bike it is if I see it on the road as will other members on this forum. With the color I don't think you need all the lights. Cool green.

Your bike makes me hungry, it reminds me of an M&M. http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif
I like it, you can't even tell that it was in an accident. Where did you get the work done? I am thinking about painting mine, do you know how much the paint job itself cost? I'm not sure what a new paint job would run.
Overall, you certainly have a very unique bike now and I think the dear will be very affraid, hopefully they stay away!

Victor, good to hear from you on here again. I think Kawi should grant you a new model number, a ZX1500.

I remember seeing a 900 vulcan, the one with the skinny front tire painted about that same color from the factory. I remember wondering what a Nomad would look like the same color. Now I know. Awesome look. I really like green scooters.

MAN, that is nice NM! And more than that I'm glad to know your up and around and back at work. I'm assuming Mrs. Nightmare is doing just as good as well.
I destroyed my other Nomad beyond repair in my deer wreck so I had to get another one. Pics will be posted soon. I'm still limping a little with my ankle when it rains, but I'm about 98% recovered.
