Hello All, My name is Jeff and I’m from just outside of New Orleans, LA I’ve got a 2008 Blue/Silver Nomad. This is my 3rd bike.
I started off with a new 1980 Harley Super glide, got tired of pushing it and changing batteries sold it after 3 and a half years. Then I went almost 25 years without a bike.
I was on vacation last June while watching the morning news Monday they announced a raffle for a 2008 Harley Super glide.
Told the wife that this was the same bike I had 25 years ago and for $50 bucks I would take a chance.
Well Friday the 13th I sat down to watch the news and wait for the drawing. 8am they pull the ticket and dam, I just won a new Super glide.
I rode it for about 2 months and decided to get the bike I really wanted so I traded it for my new Nomad.

I found this site along with Gadget’s site and they are my go to sites for all info on Nomads.

Welcome from north Georgia, jmax! My sister in Florida had a Super Glide Custom for a while. She now rides a Heritage Softail Classic. Couldn't talk her into a Nomad!! Her loss!

Welcome from Central Oregon! Congratulations! My best friend won a new Street Glide last year in a raffle. He sold it and banked the cash. I haven't converted him to Nomads yet, (he dearly lives his Heritage Softail Classic - nice bike).
