Rode 290 Miles yesterday and have a sore left shoulder and bisept today. Yesterday was the first long ride with highway pegs which lets me stretch out a bit. I'm looking at the Phat Risers and have been visualizing where my hands will be 2" higher and 2" further back.
Is there a rule of thumb how much your elbow should be bent to prevent fatigue when riding?

Not to nit-pick or anything, but wouldnt that be a rule of elbow? ;)
I put the 3" Chucksters risers on Lucille about a year ago and my back/neck strain feeling disappeared. The change brought my elbows in closer and left a little bend in them, essentially left some range of motion in either direction if that makes sense.

need a slight bend is all I want. 4 in up and 2 in back works for me on the phatt ll.
