WOMPUS racks for the 1700 Kawasaki's

Just wanted everyone to know that I now make the heavy duty luggage racks for the 1700 Nomads and Classics.
On the Nomads the grab rails now stay on the bike, and it will work with or without the backrest on the bike!

I bought one of the first and it took about 20 minutes for me to install. I recommend it to anyone.

I know a friend of mine with the 1700 Nomad was having trouble finding a rack that would fit the new sissy bar as they said the 1600 doesn't fit but he turned up yesterday with a cobra rack off a 1600 looking every bit as though it was made for the bike - Has anyone else tried fitting one.

I havent measured yet but the back rest bar and mount on both bikes look identical. The big difference is the 1600 mounting bolts dont have any trim around them and the 1700 does so a spacer may be required to clear it. As I said not confirmed yet.
