Last Aug 7th I had a "simple" knee Scope. The kind that keeps ball players off the field for like 4 weeks. Well developed DVT( Blood Clot) was put on too much blood thinner for a week, had a bleed in the knee cavity, swelled up to the size of a perfect volleyball and stayed that way until new years! Now after nearly a year and more hours of rehab than I care to remember I've been cleared to go! Been lookin at the thread on the dragon. I think a trip from the Shenandoah Valley down to the tail just might be in order real soon.

Welcome back. I had 3 clots in my leg after back surgery. I was on Coumadin for two years and have now moved to aspirin. The back is better but the leg will never be the same.

Glad your back and doing well! Sorry you had complications. I've had arthroscopic knee surgery on the same knee twice, 4 years apart. The second one 20 years ago. The first time I had problems with swelling and was out for three months. The second time, I was home from surgery the next day, on my feet with a cane two days later and back at work 5 days later.
