I'd like to see the underdog win even if they beat out the Cowboys. I'd love to see the Giants ruin the Patriots perfect season. It would be like bringing your best girl to the Senior Prom and not knowing what to do with her afterwards.
I won't bet on the Giants but an upset would be priceless.

You're right about that Idaho. They really win in this one. Being a Cowboys fan, I don't like any other team in the NFC East, so I'm cheering for the Patriots. Plus, Junior Seau has played his heart out for years and come away with nothing, so I'm kind of cheering for him.

This is an after the game post....I personally did not care who won the Superbowl because my Steelers were out long ago. However, I did tell a lot of people that I thought it was going to be sad that the '72 Dolphins could lose their individuality in history.

What a game...and what a flip flop I am. Started off rooting for the Pats just to let them finish what they started...plus as a lifelong Eagles fan, couldn't bring myself to root for a team I've rooted against twice a year forever.

But by halftime I switched over to the darkside and started cheering for the Gints...they played so far above what any person outside of NY could ever expect Ithat had to stick with them.

Here's a frosted mug to you Top Cat...that was a helluva football game and the Giants stole it with heart and effort from the Pats. Go Birds.

I agree, but around here they think he is the best of all time. He should not be MVP. His offensive line should be MVP. The biggest play of the game was when Eli was under tremendous pressure, but he got the job done.

I feel the same way. I was surprised someone on defense didn't get MVP. But I'm ok with Eli getting it.

It wasn't the prettiest pass, but if he doesn't break out he doesn't even make the pass. And you are right. The catch on the other end was terrific.
