View Full Version : New KawaNOW Staff Member....CMM
For some time now, I've felt that KawaNOW needed someone to manage the For Sale/Parts/Wanted section of the forum for me, but most of all, I think KawaNOW needs someone to be a guide in the used parts and used motorcycle area.
After looking for a while, I feel that I have found that person. I have asked Todd "Toddf1" Frasier to be the KawaNOW Chief Materials Manager (CMM) and he has graciously accepted.
Whether you know it or not, Todd is no stranger to materials management. His actual title at work is Material Damage Manager. He manages the repair process both body and mechanical for the 3rd largest insurer in North Carolina. He deals with cars, motorcycles, boats, heavy equipment, farm equipment, RVs, ATVs...you name it. Todd teaches and manages the repair process for his new and existing folks (about 300) and also he has 14 specialists that report to him that do nothing but evaluate damages. Part of that is obtaining used parts and selling of the total losses that they have.
Todd actually helped develop a manual for insurers nationally, through a trade organization for motorcycle repairs. He had the help of Honda reps, Harley reps, and several other dealers and manufacturers , as well as tech schools that he has attended.
I feel that his experience in handling materials can be a real asset to KawaNOW in helping KawaNOW members with their used parts and used motorcycle needs and advice. Todd's role as CMM will be to not only oversee the moderator duties of the For sale/parts/wanted area, but to be available to answer any questions about used parts or give any advice when it comes to buying or selling used Nomads.
Please join me in congratulating Todd Frasier for becoming the KawaNOW Chief Materials Manager.
Thanks,
Trip
It sounds like we got the right man for the job!

Todd,
Congrats on your promotion. We all expect you to throw a party and invite us all.
And by the way, in your new capacity as CMM, how about locating me a chrome giggling pin for my laughing shaft http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif. You know, it goes right under the thermofrockle. I'v been looking for one for years.
Seriously, thanks for taking on the job.

Shoot; Dan Lund used the "key to the executive washroom " line.
I'll be quicker next time.
Congrats, Todd
Thanks for the well wishes folks.
Trying to find used parts for Nomads is about like trying to find them for a '46 Tucker..there just aren't many out there. I put the word out for a certain members left saddlebag last year and still have not come up with one....but, I am thinking we can also ask some new, used, and aftermarket vendors to work with KawaNOW members.
Cactusjack and Doc...there's no parachute involved...just a shove out of the plane.
Shep, I just found the last chrome one for another friend of mine, would you consider blued steel or brushed aluminum ???
As for the executive washroom....just got a chance to try it out and BD, Nico, SWB have been peeing on the floor and seat http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif (I'm kinda surprised at Nico too since he has to sit down :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ )

Congrats Todd. I always hope that finding used parts for the Nomad is not as difficult as finding them for the Guzzi (or at least less expensive).
Good for you Todd! Congrats.
