That Cross Country is sweet. I really like the look of the rear bag/fender/light set up.

That's funny I click on the link to go to a story about Victory and what do I see but a Kawasaki video ad.
NOt sure about the new baggers. The one without the fairing looks really out of place. Like a wide ass on an otherwise skinny chic. the other one looks like they took a fairing of a venture and reworked it. Fits ok on that bike though I think.

I like the cross roads with it's 5.8 gallon tank, and 106 ci engine. If I read right, it should list for 15,999. That's not too bad for an american bike, and I am sure it may go for less.

Yeah, that fairing is funky.

It looks as though they are really trying to take advantage of Harleys slow sales at the way they are marketing their bikes against them directly.

The Ness Victory Vegas Jackpot at the very bottom of that page is sweet! I saw an 09 recently at the dealership, and it was $22,000, a little too rich for my blood.
I hope they put some more room in the bags of the Vision, because there wasn't much there before.

I like them. If I ever get an American bike, it may be a Victory. But nothing anytime soon, I love my Nomad.

That Cross-Country ride looks pretty sweet. It would be even better with a tour pack on the rear! The Vision is just too "Jetsons" for my blood.....

The Vision is a great bike. Very comfortable and would be a super ride on a cross-country tour. Unfortunately, the visual image is hard to get past.
I wouldn't mind the Cross Country which is more to my taste with the more traditional styling.
The Cross Roads looks uncomfortable as all hell. They might as well have mounted a rock for a seat on that thing.

Well in a week or so Ima gonna be @ Sturgis and they better have a couple to ride! I rode the Vison when it came out and it was impressive - except for the bag / trunk capacity and the George Jetson looks. But man does the thing handle an acellerate! Always thought if they could put the chassis under some better looking body work and make the bags / trunk bigger they would have somethin good!

Victory does have some nice looking bikes. But I am very happy with my '08 Nomad.
When I saw the Cross Country, I knew it would be my next bike. I'm very happy with my '03 Nomad, but there will come a time in the next year or two when I decide to trade. I really like my fairing on my bike, I'm not happy with what Kaw did with the looks and length of the new Nomad (no offense to you guys that have them, that's why there are so many brands and models..so everyone can have what they want), but wanted the 6 speed, a little more c.i., and belt drive again. Looked at the Street Glide but damn, a lot of money and everyone has one now. Not to mention the HD's are still the only bikes in my group that break down. Both the HD and the Nomad's new riding position is pretty cramped for tall guys. I feel the same on the Voyager. Kaw made the riding position more compact for better stability, but for me (I'm 6'3") it just feels too small compared to my 1500.
I have always loved Victory's, and the fact that it is built on the Vision chassis, which I sit comfortably on, means it will be long enough for me. Not to mention 21 gallon saddlebags (HD's are 16.9 in case your wondering. The fairing makes a nod towards the traditional batwing, but does something new and exciting with it. Fenders and lights look great! I'm excited to see and ride it. Just my .02 guys.
