While looking on eBay for some inexpensive (cheap?) handlebar risers I came across a store called BILLET PLUS CYCLES. I noticed where they said that they would make spacers, etc. to your specifications out of billet aluminum.

I asked for a quote for a pair of 3" high risers with an outside diameter of 1.01" and with a half inch bolt hole.

They gave me a price of $36.00 plus $7.00 shipping. I ordered them and they arrived yesterday.

I put them on today. Since it's raining I couldn't try them out on the road but from just sitting on the bike it feels good to me.

I had to get a couple of 6" bolts from the hardware store to mount them.

I'm including some shots I took. The first one has the mounting bracket off the bike in the shot for comparison.

Bob,
They look good, Did you have to re-route any cables?

They look good. Any problem with console clearance when you turn the bars ?

No, but I did have to take them out of the cable ties closest to the center of the handlebar.

No clearance issues at all.

THAT is a good price. Makes you think twice about the others that move your bars back a bit. But these must move them back because they're at an angle.

How much do they go back Bob?

I picked up some similar to those on ebay also, but for $40 and they came with the bolts and they were polished like chrome. They're only 2 inches high, and I think I may need more pullback though...

According to the specs on the 1600 Nomad the rake angle is 32 degrees. As near as I can figure it the 3 inch high riser will give an additional setback from vertical of 1 1/8 inches and a lift of 2 9/16 inches above horizontal. My trigonomety skills are pretty rusty so a math guru may have a more exact answer.

Daryl, where'd you get yours? I've seen where they don't come with the bolts, but there are adapter kits - how are you handling this? Thanks...
