Went to Clearwater today to the Full Throttle magazine Florida Bike Builder Show. It was pretty cool show, almost all HD stuff, but really neat to see the custom bikes and how people can fabricate their ideas into great looking bikes. Also got some good ideas for my bike by looking at some of the bikes that were ridden to the show. (I didn't ride because it was pouring when we left our house 80 miles north).

My wife and I got a chance to see the OCC National Guard tribute bike and got our picture taken with it by the National Guard. I have to wait a couple days to get it but I will post it when I do. If you watch the OCC show on TV, the build was show this past Thursday. Up close it was such an awesome bike. TV didn't do it justice.

There were two other military inspired bikes, one a tribute to a local fallen army solider that used one of his old uniforms to cover the tins and clearcoated. There are pictures of it in the Full Throttle Florida issue this month (it is online). The other was a tribute to a marine unit that only had one survivor. Truly great looking and inspirational bikes.

Sorry I don't have any pictures, I didn't have a camera...dumb move, I know.

Hey coacha....I was at Fort Indiantown Gap, PA, for training last July when the OCC boys flew in and were out riding around in the striker vehicles they showed on the National Guard bike build. While they were there, they had the POW and the other military bikes on display in a hanger. I went over to check them out and took pic's. I'll try to get them posted for you guys to check out.

Those guys are a bit extreme...and I think now a little more commercialized... but they can build one HELLL of a bike!!

Yeah they are a bit over the top but when you see the craftsmanship up close, you appreciate what they do.
