I bought the light bar a long while back and don't remember where. I have a bulb burnt out and can't find a replacement. I thought if I could figure out where I got it they might have replacement bulbs. It's not just a bulb but a bulb with a pig tail flat end on it that plugs into the bucket. The number on the bulb is R606 brand name reads Au Lite
43 12V 25W N
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Maybe a place that that might stock the bulb.

Try a place like Carquest or Napa, sometimes Princess Auto has a good selection of bulbs also. If you still have problems locating a bulb perhaps you can convert it to something more readily available.
I converted my side lamps from a 25w sealed beam to a 55w halogen bulb from some that I picked up at Princess Auto.

It looks like a Cobra lightbar. They use the bulb you are looking for. I remember reading in the Nomad Garage someone looking for the same bulb. Here is a link where you can buy the bulb.
http://www.xtecauto.com/ It was provided by Netnorske.
It sounds like an H3 bulb, most auto parts stores around here have them but they are harder to find in lower wattages. I use the 55w bulbs, and they are on a seperate circuit from the other lights.

Thanks Steve, John, and wiz,....I have the light bar slaved with the high beam on the headlight. {so they go on with the high beam headlight. There is a switch on the bar so they can be off if I want.}
Do you know if I'd need to put them on a seperate circuit if I go to a higher wattage?
I'm heading out today to check out P.A.. Otherwise I'll check the link John. My thanks to you too Kris.

Rick, I have a website that sells all kinds of bulbs and I found the lower wattage H3's there. I can dig it up for you when I get home from work today.

I think this is the website that CJ posted on an earlier thread as a good source of bulbs:
http://www.fastcycleparts.com/sc-2-2-bulbs.aspx
http://www.lightbulbemporium.com/default.asp seems to have about everything under the sun, and at good prices for a couple things I've checked. Placed my first order with them a couple days ago so can't vouch for them yet. Saved enough on one H4 bulb to pay the shipping so got a couple and a bunch of replacements for the Wally-World Bullet Burners at $1.99 per bulb since they do tend to go rather fast.

thats a Cobra light bar Ricky. I own one. you can buy those filaments for the spots at any Honda dealer. They are actually Honda bulbs. i buy mine through a Honda delaer for about $10 a piece. i buy 4-6 at a time. You might find other places too if you hunt.

I could not find the 25W bulbs when my Cobra lightbar needed one so I changed my wiring as per the schematic on Gadget's web site using a relay and then insalled 55W H3 bulbs.
Let me just say it really lights up the night!
If you don't wire it up with a relay you will just blow your fuses.

I just had the same problem finding 25W H3's for my Cobra. I found some online but didn't feel like waiting. I was able to find 35W at my local Napa. They are significantly brighter. Commuting to work everyone was flashing their highbeams at me so I had to aim my lights down some. I can't imagine what 55 watters must be like.

Thanks to everyone for your help. I didn't find the 25 watt bulbs but did find some H3 55's. I guess I'll find out if I need to change the wiring if and when I blow a fuse. I plugged in 2 new 55 watt bulbs and so far so good. The guy at Lordo Automotive didn't think it would need changing.
I'll let you know how things go. I don't remember for sure but I think I beefed up the wiring and incl. a relay, when I installed the light bar to begin with. Thanks again for everyones help.
Now the bulbs are changed, and I've changed my baby's oil, spark plugs, and throttle body's cleaned with seafoam.....the next thing I need to do is give her a bath tomorrow and it'll be "all purdy" again. The wash and wax will be a huge job, with bags and chaps off and will include an under belly wash with an engine cleaner/degreaser.

if you did the relay you are fine if not with 2 x 55w bulbs I believe you are pulling 9.5 amps on a 10 amp circuit. It is likely not a question of if, but when. There was another owner here that ran for months then started blowing the fuses with a similar configuration, so make sure you have a spare just in case.
Putting a higher amp fuse in is not safe either, the wiring harness is built for the load they expect (10 amp in this case), and it can cause the harness to overheat and melt or even start on fire!

I found a 35W H-3 at one of the local auto parts stores, but can't remember which one. I think it was NAPA but won't swear to it.

Yep, you get the 35W at any NAPA store. That's where I get mine for my driving lights.
