I'm curious as to what mods would you like to do to your Nomad after the Custer get together?
Mine would be a Day Long saddle and a full fairing! Maybe a cruise control? That's just for starters!

Good thread, Brad. (wow, did I actually type that?) http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif
I want to get a bigger trunk and now that I have seen one in person, it will most likely be a Scootworks Supertrunk III. I will also buy a GPS soon and at the top of the list is a Daylong saddle.
I would like a fairing, but that's lower priority than the other items.

Me? Definately a cruise control. Doesn't hurt that I know have one sitting next to the bike after Thursday evening (Thanks again CJ). Probably will put more effort into a fuse block and some more lights on the front and finally get the tourpack wired up.

I think I was pretty well set as far as mods go. I spent all winter getting the bike set up for the trip to Custer. The only thing I wish I really had was a cruise control. The BrakeAway throttle lock works great, but it is not the same as you can really only use it effectively on the flat ground.
I was very pleased with my trunk (Premeux) and Dekker Supreme T-bag that locked onto the trunks luggage rack. Between those and the saddlebag liners, we were able to pack everything we needed for an extended trip of any length!
The GPS was invaluable...and pre-loading routes via the HD Ride Planner website made life easy for sure.

A larger trunk might be in my future Brad. I like the look of the older Venture trunk, but bigger would be better in this case I think. But by far the cruise control was the most appreciated mod on the bike. I can't thank you enough for that Scott.

Chris, maybe some new pipes. Just kidding. For me a Day long saddle for sure. Stock seats are terrible.

For me, a better seat, highway pegs, and risers are definite. Options would be a GPS, trunk, and cruise control.

I would like to add a trunk, and some driving lights. I was very glad I had installed the cruise the week before (though it did not want to hold at 75). I would also like to add a windshield bag.

I think I will get a different seat for next really long ride. Maybe get a GPS that doesn't lie to me like Todd's did...Greta was a lying hoe on some of the route times/distances. Other than that, fix the cruise and I'll be set.

A big trunk would be good to hold all that SD gold you need to bring back for the wife.

Finish my intake, seat, finish my trunk for sure, more lights.
Possibly a new seat, looking at those gel sheepskins. Those Cobra pipes did sound nice. GPS so Denny could figure out wich way North is.
