I Love it!
I _think_ he's saying the rear end is bottoming out on bumps in the road, but not potholes or rough roads...but I've gotten in trouble for thinking before, especially way back when I was married...

Well if that don't make a new member feel welcome I don't know what will :-[
I think he means his front forks take the bump with no problem but when the rear tire hits it the bike feels like a ridgid frame 1914 Harley.
I know because thats what mine feels like when riding solo , at the setting I have on it now for riding 2-up.
Any sugestions? I just got off the bike after a 95 mile ride and my back is kinda sore from the beating.
Topcat gets the interpreter of the month award..
If thats the case..he has his rear suspension waaaaaaaaay to tight (to much air and or rebound set to IIII) try changing to 1 and see if that makes a difference and if not..have someone check to see if you have a lot of air pressure in those rear shocks.

Thats not what he said! it was, "See bump run, run bump run, bike go clang, bump go bang, drop bag of pot in hole"
Yup..thats why I needed an interpreter....

WOW, I guess I read way to much into that first post. I thought I had it figured out too.
Does this mean I have to give back my interpreter of the month club award? http://s2.images.proboards.com/shocked.gif

Now I know I've found the right website to hang out at!!!
If I understand Richard, he's saying that when he hits a bump he feels something banging under the bike? Almost as if the goats beely was striking the underside or something like that?
I've felt the same thing but when I've checked for anything loose under it, everything is good and tight.

My saddlebags sure are getting full.....gonna need a trunk!! Or maybe one of those little trailers!!
socwkbiker

No trunk needed. Just combine all of Todd's ingredients, go on a ride full of twisties to mix well, park it at home and enjoy the day!
Just be careful with the beer, don't want a face full of foam.
HEY, IS THAT YOU THAT'S BEEN FOLLOWING ME SWB... http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif??!!???
