He said in another thread that he is working about 90 hours a week for the past three weeks.

What the hell are you doing? Setting up the audio for a G8 summit?

The Who, Beatles, Eagles, and Creedence Clearwater Revival reunion tour with all the original members?

Dan,

Mine hasn't been much better. I have been putting in 70 to 80 hours just trying to get everything done for the vacation. The bad part of my job, work your butt of more to go on vacation and then work your butt off just to catch back up.

Yes, I remember the days before I worked for myself. Back when you needed a vacation, to get over your vacation. :(

Actually, we just sort of brewed the perfect storm. I have large design build jobs I've been working on for the last couple of years, one in Tampa, one in Tulsa, one in Vegas and a couple here in Colorado. Some of them experienced construction delays which threw schedules off. Then, all of them got their act together and they all needed us onsite at the same time. Add to that the fact that I had to go to Long beach to speak at a conference in the middle of all of this and we're prepping systems for Linkin Park's tour and the Styx/REO tour plus doing the USAFA Graduation and it got pretty ugly. But I think I'm gonna win! Back to Tampa this weekend, then in Denver and Grand Junction next week then to CUSTER! WooHoo!
Then back to Tulsa then back to Vegas.....nevermind that, I'm just looking at Custer. Will deal with the rest later. http://s2.images.proboards.com/angry.gif:(" title=">:(" border="0"/>

You are the traveling man. Pretty quick you should have enough frequent flyer miles for a nice vacation. ;)

This was from my hotel room. Sorry man. I didn't realize you were that close man. I was only there for two days and had to do two presentations and then several meetings with industry folk. If I had known, I would have given you a shout out for sure. My brother came by and we had a few beers together. Oh well. I'm sure I'll be back. At any rate, I'll see you in a week or so.

I hear BD is easy to find. He hangs around the Port of Long Beach picking up sailors. http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif

Ahhhh the Yard House Restaurant (nearest building on the left)at Shoreline Village. One of my favorite hangouts beside Parkers Lighthouse (right side of pic, round brown building with the white top!) You were staying at the Hotel next to the Long Beach Auditorium with the pedestrian cross over. Thats where I hang when the LB Grand Prix is running!

For anyone not familiar with this area, thats the Queen Mary in the background and the white dome barely visible behind it is where the Spruce Goose was located before moving to Washington.

Next time down lets hook up bud... http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif

Somebody must have left the door open, because I just felt a big blast of hot air.
