View Full Version : Kawasaki belt
I had a belt made by Greg Wood-www.newcreationleathercraft.com. Really looks nice. And you get to design it yourself. Just thought I would tell about it and show it. Got it in 3 days.

Nice belt man, looks to be a 34 right. LOL
Not exactly a 34! :( More like a 36. :-[ This guy does good work. Check out his web site. Maybe we could have a KawaNOW belt.

I have a friend that is a silversmith that fabricates and engraves handmade buckles; he could make a real nice buckle for that belt, if you would be interested. My husband and I both have a buckle with the Vulcan wings on them with engraving around the wings.

thats pretty nice, I think you should take cyclecat up on her offer and have their friend make you a Vulcan buckle for it. that would finish it off nicely.
CycleCat, can you post a picture of that buckle? I'd like to see it before ordering one. http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif

The picture does not do the buckle justice. This a really nice buckle, hand fabricated and engraved, but being that it is 4 years old, it's a bit scratched from lots of use. My friend has also made me 2 - 3 piece buckle sets, earrings, bracelets, and necklace all out of sterling silver with gold accents. He had also made me various hand engraved copper accent pieces for my leather bags and my Ruby. His work is truly beautiful and if you have never seen hand made pieces such as buckles, they are really nice, a bit pricey but one of a kind and custom made.

Charlie can pretty much put anything on a buckle. I do the drawings for him on Auto CAD and he hand saws and solders the designs onto buckles. We have done some kinda weird stuff to some totally awesome stuff and everything in between. A buckle like mine is made a bit bigger for a man and he would want $300.00 USD. Might sound pricey but you have to remember hand fabricated, hand engraved, and each engraved pattern is different so no 2 are the same. Right now he is working on a solid gold, 4 piece buckle set with diamonds set into the flower centers and that's when you hit the big bucks.
I think the belt buckle has taken over this thread! NIce buckle. With my belly, I don't know if anyone would ever see it! :'(
