Hi Guys and Gals.

Trip...feel free to move this thread after a day or two. Thought it might get a little more attention if it started out here.

With Trip's blessing I contacted Black Hills Power Sports about a month ago to inform them we had our Rally coming up. I was hoping they could bring a Nomad and/or Voyager to the seminar site....but they don't have a Voyager and only have one 2009 Nomad in stock so if you want to see one it will have to be at the dealer assuming they don't sell it first. It is a black one so it isn't as fast as the red/beige http://s2.images.proboards.com/cheesy.gif

They did put together some "special" pricing for us and added some inventory. I know you can get a bit better deal on the internet on some of these items but at least you have an idea what some costs will be if you need some tires.

If you do wander over to the dealer make sure you mention you are with KawaNow for the rally and they may do something special for you.

Here is Keith Berry's (Parts Mgr.) last email to me. Feel free to contact him directly if you want to plan something while you are in town. I won't be going to Custer but don't mind assisting from afar.

Greg

Labor rates for install FRONT: $29.99 REAR: $39.99

The labor quote is for bike without irregular accessories. If pipes need to be removed or other stuff that requires more time charges will be according to time related. We know how the service business works and we will do services including greasing axles and such as needed and we do the obvious inspections of brakes etc… We do a lot of tourist business and have a lot of rallies come through every year. Sturgis (500,000 or so attendees) comes every year and we have been doing this for many years so I think we will be ready. We will and do stock brake pads, clutches, wheel bearings and other common things for these and many other popular motorcycles. We service all makes & models.

As far as the bikes go our inventory is really low and we haven’t received the new VOYAGER yet, I do not think we will be able to provide bikes for display.

We stock Vista Cruise & Brake-Away cruise control systems. We do not install cruise systems due to insurance guidelines.

We stock a lot of riding gear: jackets, helmets, gloves etc….. Fieldsheer, Alpinestars, AGV, Castle, ICON, etc….

If you want to start a ride here we could host with coffee & donuts or such. We will provide “DOOR PRIZES” for banquet or whatever.

Please let me know what we can help with.

Thank you,

Keith Berry

That sound very decent of them, their prices seem to be pretty good also and the labour rate is excellent in my opinion. Id be happy to pay someone $40.00 to change my rear tire.
If they throw in some door prizes that will be a bonus. It seems like Im going to miss a great rally, maybe I can make it next time.

Maybe the dealer could put on a little maintenance seminar for those that are going....

So I guess this means that the Kawasaki racing girls aren't going to be in Custer? :(

Maybe the dealer could put on a little maintenance seminar for those that are going....

That would be a great idea; and I'll volunteer my bike for the seminar!

(I would even be nice enough to pay for parts.)
