Late October was great for catching the fall foliage on Talimena last year.

I talked to Victor the other day and he didn't give a date but said that him and his Nomad would be ready for the Talimena ride this fall, can't wait.

I just talked to Annie and all the power is out the Riders Rest she was waiting on the power company to call so she said she would call me tomorrow, if there are any rooms left I will book them on my credit card when she calls so if you need one call me are you can get a room next door that is where Chainsaw is staying and I under stand the rates are about the same.

I see a lot of people saying they will be there on the 23rd. What is the typical schedule like for this? If we did not arrive until 2PM on the 24th would we be likely to miss any group rides?

Have we had that many donations Trip if so let me know how many people donated it will give me an idea how many people are coming so I can plan the meal.

Noone has donated to me specifically for the SC rally meal, but instead of all of us pitching in for the meal, let me pay for it out of the KawaNOW donation general fund. Many have donated to that.

What do you think it will take to buy the food you need to feed us at that meal? I don't want you to be out any money.

Jim, I'm going to purchase everything I need for the gumbo and potatoe salad. I'm not concerned about being reimbursed.

Just to let everyone know, since Jim and Mitch don't really know how much they will be spending on the meal for us, I'm going to wait until the rally in June and reimburse them at the rally.

Well, like Gyrodoc, I'm new to the site and am going to try to attend the rally this year. I only live a few hours from Eureka anyway. If I can't come up for the whole thing, maybe I can get in for at least one ride. Hope to see and meet as many of you as possible. I love my 05 Nomad.

Another newbie to this site that's going to try and make it over to the rally if at all possible. I'm not sure what day(s) I can make yet but hope to make at least one of them. It's always a nice ride over to Eureka from NE OK and I haven't made it over there this year anyway.

I'm also trying to get my brother to tag along on his Nomad too, so I'll see how that goes! Hopefully, if we make it we'll be able to find a place to rest for the night that's close to the rally.

I should know something real soon and I hope to get the chance to meet some of you. 8)

I'm hoping he and his wife want to make the trip but even if he doesn't, I'll have my favorite riding partner along anyway. That would be my wife and she'll be riding her Vulcan 900 LT which we bought earlier this year. It hasn't been on a good road trip yet and it's about time it did.
