Looking at accessorizing my 07 Nomad a little more. Things I am looking at and would like some input on are -

*Headlight Visor

*Fire and Steel Running Lights Visors

*Bezels or Turn Signal Grills / Front and Rear
(Unless they make visors for turn signals, then I want them instead)

*Chrome Brake Pedal (with rubber inserts of course)

*Run/Turn/Brake Kit

*Steble Horn / I hear this can be a life saver

Anybody have any experience or suggestions on make, model, brands, what to stay away from, what really looks good?

Don't want to waste my dollars. They are hard to come by these days.

Go for the Stebel, for sure.

On the brake pedal, I went for the Drifter pedal. Not for looks, but for function.

My foot kept getting caught under the stock brake pedal in my normal riding position. The Drifter pedal moved it forward.

Here's Gadget's write up.

And here's what mine looks like:

Horn first, in chrome of coarse.. If I see your picture correctly you have a black Nomad? So, anything chome would be sweet. Fender tips are nice. My next purchase will be the headlight visor and the "Red" rear signal lenses.

The Kuryakyn Run-Turn-Brake kit is sweet....totally plug and play....anyone can do it in about 15-20 minutes. It comes with the red bezel lenses for the rear, but you will need to purchase the matching amber bezels for the front separately. This is a great improvement to add more lighting to the back of your Nomad....a "must do mod" IMHO.... http://s2.images.proboards.com/cool.gif!

Big +1 on the Drifter pedal. Safer and more comfortable. Kuryakyn pedal cover to finish it off. After that, function first, then bling.

On your short list of mods, this ranks #1 IMO.

#2 would be drifter brake pedal.....and add 8027 Kuryakyn brake pedal to replace that ugly stock rubber pad.

If you need risers, that would be #1

Dennis,

Since you are a new member I will help you out on this one....just buy 2 of everything and have them shipped to my house. I will install one set, let you know how they went together and if they are worth the effort...then I will send the second set on to you with my comments....that is a win win deal! http://s2.images.proboards.com/cool.gif http://s2.images.proboards.com/cool.gif

Good Luck!

Schoeney: You are just too good to me, but I'm afraid I would be dipping into my wife's bling budget to make your great offer come true. Never hurts to ask though, good try. Maybe next time.
