They are are special but what are your favorite add-ons that make it that much more special for you? I have lots of add-ons but the two items I get the most out of are the risers and custom bars along with the simple vista cruise.

What makes my Nomad special? Me!

No, I'd have to say the electronic cruise control. It's a really nice feature to have.

I purchased my Nomad after it had been "down". My favorite add-ons are all the parts that I have found to replace the damaged ones. It will be a while before I start putting aftermarket "bling" on it. If it aint broke, don't fix it. (Plus all that stuff can add up to a pretty penny!)

The lady that rides on it with me; everything else just makes it a nice bike; she makes it all worth remembering.

The ape hangers are what sets my bike apart from the other nomads. The car tire also gets quite a few comments.

This is easy. The chrome brackets I ordered from Sarge to lower and angle the passenger floorboards. My wife has ridden with me on 3 bikes and she always complained about the pegs or floorboards. This one thing she states made the Nomad a step ahead of the rest for passenger comfort.

Damn you Sarge! :)

What makes mine special is the serenity it brings with every ride.

What makes mine so special is she's all mine and she's also my first. And if you don't think yours is special, you need to get something else.

My '99 is the first bike I've ever owned and the non-matching paint job on the trunk and rack were my first attempts at painting too! I've done almost every mod myself so I've made it my own.

I will probably keep it for as long as I can.

WOW ! what a tough question...for me it might be the Venture trunk and the rack I fab'd, but then it might be the LED lights I get so many comments on, the Stebal has saved my a$$ a few times, so I love that add-on, ....gotta love that Cadmann and TFI kit,... but I think I have to agree with Scott and that maybe the electronic cruise control might be the best add on ever, .....so many things that make it my own. A tough but great question psycho.

My favorite thing about my bike is the home-made leather accessories and/or the ultimate baffles.

Dependability when I'm on a 1,000 mile road trip (round trip) and the driving surface, weather, and/or traffic is poor; the bike keeps thumping down the road undaunted. ;)

I have to agree with you there Ringadingh. Nothing like 1 on 1 time in the garage checking her over and maybe doing a mod while listening to some good tunes on the stereo. I also like the fact that this bike as so much character, good or annoying. The engine noise is loud, some are finicky with fuel, tires make a big difference, I could think of more but I'm used to it now. I remember when I had my Suzuki Voulsia it didn't have any. I read in an English magazine that stated that ,and I thought that was right. I like a little character. I also like the fact that I smoked a Harley street glide last weekend going up a long uphill grade. We both had passengers and I beat him by about 12 bike length's. It was great. And my Nomad is stock, and he did have a aftermarket exhaust and I dont know what else. He did give me the thumbs up at the top of the hill.http://i709.photobucket.com/albums/ww100/ChiefMkc/P5250165.jpghttp://i709.photobucket.com/albums/ww100/ChiefMkc/P5200007.jpg

That my uncle and godfather thought enough of me to leave me something when he left so I could buy my bike and own it outright. The bike bears his name...

Mine is special to me because all my add ons are of my own design and I spent many hours making them...except for the pipes..Bdog

What really makes my Nomad mine is the rear luggage rack that I made myself. Other than all the rest of the add ons I've put on this one can never be duplicated perfectly. OK, China might try though.
