I meet the owners of the Harley shop up in Ogden this week. Great folks! they invited me to the Promintory Point run Sunday May 17th. The run leaves Harley of Ogden @ 11:00 am. Cost is $15.00 it includes a ride pin, and lunch. Promintory Point is the historical site where they drove in the golden spike, when the east & west railroads meet back in 1869. there's a reinactment with 2 steam locomotives and everyting. It's should be fun, supposed to be around 200 bikes. I'm bringin my camera. There also takin a group shot of everone in front of the trains.

The Golden Spike Historic Site at Promentory Summit, Utah is a great place to ride to and visit. I was out in Utah for the 2002 Winter Olympics and had a chance to visit the site. have a great ride.

I lived in Utah for 39 years and never made to Promontory Point. I remember the big shindig back in 1969 when they commemorated the 100th anniversary of The Golden Spike.

I heard about the ride, but wasn't able to make it.
