Okay folks. Since I replaced my Chatterbox with a J&M CB and an XM radio I don't need the Chatterbox anymore.

I have a Chatterbox HJC-FRS MultiSport + with extra stuff as follows:
2 coiled NR headset cords
1 full face NR stereo headset
1 passenger patch cord
1 12v filtered power supply
1 RAM handlebar mount system
1 Push to talk switch

Some miscellaneous small stuff; screws, extra mount backplate, belt clips.

The radio has two FRS channels that work well. I never used the PTT switch because with the VOX system we did not need it. All I had to do was set the squelch and talk and the radio or intercom worked.

Oh, I only have the one headset because one broke due to my stupidity. If you want an intercom system you will have everything you need except you will need to buy one extra headset for your passenger.

I used the chatterbox primarilly as an audio system for my MP3 player. That reminds me, there is also an audio input cord.

All of this stuff costs about $200 new. If anyone wants it for $85 plus shipping let me know. If I don't have a taker I will list it on Ebay.

Lemme know.

I tried emailing you but I guess your email must be wrong or something, I would be interested for sure, was just curious if it works on normal cb stations or does it only work with other chatterbox's. Looking at it primarily for bike to bike with my dad
Thanks

Hi Josh,
Sorry about the email. I will check the address in my profile. The Chatterbox only works for bike to bike comm with other FRS radios. I talked on it with people with other FRS radios when I was on the road in large cities. Seems that the FRS family of radios is popular with construction companies. Also some people use them on trips for car to car comm.

I will say that the audio quality was very good on the two way radio. It also works great as a stereo amp when you are alone. it is easy to set the radio squelch to talk to your passenger or another bike via the VOX microphone. I never needed the PTT switch.

My email address is hbsmalley@aol.com if you want to talk.

Thanks for asking Bud.
