Poor Fellas

I just got back from a short ride. Was coming back thru the neighborhood. Two of the neighbors were out. The ladies were planting flowers and the guys were just standing there talking looking bored to death. I come cruising by on the Nomad....they start looking when I'm still down the street, heads following as I cruise by and keep following me as they give me a "I wish I was doing that" wave. BTW - This may be weird buy I like to sound of the bike cooling down after I've pulled in the garage and cut it off. It's like it's saying 'nice ride'.

It's Mother's Day, and they should have been relaxing and standing around ...

I agree Nancy. I like to listen to my Nomad in the garage for a minute or so before putting her to sleep. The sweet sound of another enjoyed ride.

That same thing led to one of my most embarrassing moments.

Pulled into my garage, closed the door, shut the bike down, and just sat there for a minute or two basking in the glow of a good ride.

Then I started to get off the bike, only to realize that I'd forgotten to put the kick stand down. Over she went.

Good thing my garage is carpeted.

And, good thing no one saw me except me!
