What do you think of putting decals on your bike?
Where can you get GOOD decals? Not the cheap looking ones.

Another vote for Purple Harley. Seems like they last forever. Great quality.

I don't know, I looked at their website pics, they still look like decals to me. I think I would go for the real thing. Have a custom paint job if you can afford it.
I get mine back from the painter today. I will post some pics then.
Not a big fan of murals, just some ghost flames and lettering.
Cindy is having the stock flames on her tank matched on the front and rear fender.
Edit;
Could you guys post some pics of your decals? Maybe the web site pics don't do them justice.

i would say not.a good air brush painter is not all that costly.

"Lethal Threat" makes some pretty decent decals, and most of them are safe to "clear-coat" over. I have some on my side covers that have been clear-coated over. Here's The Link (http://lethalthreat.com/) to their web-site.

wally world had some pin striping patterns I added to my tank and bags. have ;lasted well over 2 yrs and look great. have some wolf heads on both fenders and last about 1 yr
I've got all kinds of decals from K&N to Americade to Mt. Washington to the Dragon and Bike TV ... Others I can't even remember .... All on the inside of the saddlebag lid. What? ... You think I'd ruin the great looks of a Nomad by putting this cheap crap where it might be seen ... No way! LOL

I went on a large group ride this weekend. One of the bikes in the crowd was an old HD....probably and early 60's panhead on a small old-school chopped frame. Driven by a woman no less (albeit a scary one), kick start and all.....!
Anyways....she had an old warn decal on the side of her oil reservoir that read "Motorcycles are like your friend's wife. Look and admire, but don't touch"!
