I got a chance to take a nice ride today. Went about 170 miles, up to Alaucha, FL for lunch and back home. Got a little rain on the way back but it was a nice ride.
Highlight was watching a GW rider eat a 3 lb. triple decker with fries for a T-shirt, lol.
Lowlight, some jerk threw a Red Bull can at us on the way back.
Hope everyone had a good ride if you got the chance.

Only a quick one to check out the GPS and Speedometer differential. A little too cool for a long ride in Tennessee. BTW, GPS read 70, Speedometer 75. fwiw

I keep my bike in a 10x14 shed built just to house it. It's in the back yard and has about a foot of snow in front of it, so no....no ride for me today.
40 mile ride today. Excellent!
Your dam right I rode today, approx 100km it was +5 today here in K-Town. First time I rode with the new fairing and listen to tunes. What a fantastic life.....

YES I DID. My bride and I rode the 110 miles down to Scootworks...bought my PhatII risers....and came home a different route...about 125 miles.... and put those boys on in about 45 minutes (putting the risers on, the ride was about 4.5 hrs :) :)

Yup, rode to work Friday - about 110miles, rode to Tomball/Magnolia and helped a couple buds put a audio system on a Screaming Eagle Roadking and a lowering kit on a Street Glide, then back home, about 50miles round trip in the rain, the long ride is tomorrow
I GOTTA get that 2 Wheel Tunes system, the speakers are small and perfectly match the HD signal housings.

As a matter of fact, I did ride today. Went on a ride with the PMRG (Phoenix Motorcycle Riders Group). We had about 50 bikes turn out and we did about 120 miles through the mountains east of Scottsdale. Nice day, too. Around 2:00, it was so warm a lot of us were stowing the leathers and enjoying the near 70 degree sunshine (Sorry, Idaho). This was my second ride with the group and the Vulcans were well-represented today, including 4 or 5 Nomads. Then I went home and installed some driving lights on my bike.
I just returned from a short around-a-few-towns ride here in southern CA of about 40mi. It turned out to be a really nice day here, sunny, about 75 degrees with a breeze and perfect for a ride.

Rode to work yesterday, and should've today (as the weather turned out favorable). But will be tomorrow: cruisin' to Santa Barbara with a neighbor who happened by last week while I was cleaning the bike. We chatted, he rides. We're riding tomorrow!
Now if I could just get some more of the SoCal Kawi riders to get onboard, it'd be a party! http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif
Good times,
Daryl
Took my girls to lunch before leaving 2 hours early for work for a "mental health" ride. http://routebuilder.org/1yk
Beautiful day out and saw lots of bikes on my ~80 mile loop including a two-tone tan/brown Nad westbound at the light at Fairmont & Bay Area Blvd at about 315 or so.
Sure was difficult to wrestle my bike to make it turn toward work at the end. Hopefully the gorgeous weather will hold on and I can get out again on my days off Tuesday & Wednesday.

took the wife for our first official on the big road ride today. We road to breakfast with the Inverness Retreads, then took a 100 mile ride around the county before we ended up heading home in the rain. She loved it.
