I received an email from this gentleman today. Does anybody recognize this brand of oil? -Trip

Name:=dejan siljanovski
Email:=dsiljanovski@yahoo.com
Information:=Hi,
I am Dejan, from Macedonia - Europe. I just bought 1600 Nomad, new 2007, black (end of April-23rd actualy and I have 5000 miles already).

I have to make my first oil change (after the first 600 miles which is done at kawasaki). They also used 15-50 oil (I do not know the brand). here it is very hot in the summer.

What do you think on Motul 5100 15-50 oil?

thanx

Motul is the oil I ran in all my racing dirt bikes. I never had a oil problem while using there products. I used it in my crankcase and also used there synthetic 2 cycle. I use Mobil 1 15-50 gold cap in my Nomad seems to be working great.

I've been using Repsol 4t 15-50 full synthetic for about 6yrs. I used it in my 02 Nomad, 32000mi with good results. Avg. fuel mi. 43mpg oil changes every 4000mi. I now use it in my 07 Nomad 4200 mi. Avg. fuel mi. 40 mpg. Oil filter Pure 1 the 3.5"one as i've put on V&H Pipes,giving me the extra room. (no-catilizer) Motul is a top brand in Europe so i'm sure its as good as the rest. I believe any 15-50w full synthetic is good.I get the best deal on Repsol thats why i've chosen to use it. Previously I used Mobil 15-50w full synthetic also with good results.I do believe "FULL SYN. & 15-50w ARE KEY" Just my opinion. Triumph uses and requires Mobil 1 15-50w Full Syn. on all their Bikes.
